Bob Johnson AICB (Comp) B.Soc.Sc (Birmingham) PGCE (Bristol)

Bob is an Associate of the Institute of Certified Bookeepers and holds a practicing certificate for Bookkeeping and Payroll. He has an excellent knowledge of Sage and has worked with a number of other computer and manual systems.

Bob has recently completed his studies for the ICB and wishes to use that knowledge, backed up by many years of business experience, for the benefit of businesses locally and further afield. He is retired from full time work which gives him time and flexibility. He has a lot of practical business experience.

His career in a nutshell:

1982 - 2003 BMW (UK) Ltd
Managed the BMW supplied Dealer Management system which up to 90% of BMW Car dealers used. A full range of applications was supplied including Accounts, Stock control, Sales etc. As well as a manager of the team he was a consultant to dealers advising them particularly on aspects of Stock control and Accounts. He also had a lot of experience in developing and testing new systems.

1974 - 1982 Kalamazoo Ltd
Trained dealer accountants and Parts managers to use the company's on-line systems. He was also involved in the development of new systems.

1970 - 1974 Teacher
Secondary teacher teaching Economics and Accounts to 'A' Level.
